Maintenance of your Karastan rugs is very simple. But to have everything in order you have to cleaning regulary.
Like the the old Oriental rug designs Karastan rugs have to be vacuumed in high traffic places every day and in less busy areas probably weekly vacuuming will be enough. Any spills or dirt spots need to be immediately removed(use water and soap only; do not use agressive substunces like solvent).
Always ensure that you use a clean non-colored cloth to collect any liquid and dirt away from the rug fibers.
If there are heavy objects(such as tables and cupboards) place them on protective discs. Do NOT allow all the weight of these objects to be narrowly aimed onto the Karastan rugs(especially if you furniture has sharp legs).
